Rangers and Celtic are understood to be keen on signing Dundee United midfielder Jeando Fuchs – and fans fear his head has now been turned.
Fuchs claims Rangers and Celtic interest
Fuchs told Foot Mercato earlier this month that Celtic and Rangers have both made contact to try and sign him.
Blackpool, Peterborough United and Wigan Athletic are also keen according to Fuchs.
Fuchs is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning he looks likely to leave Dundee United for free as things stand.
Fuchs, formerly of Sochaux and Alaves, has made a big impact as a battling midfielder with Dundee United.
Celtic and Rangers may be seeking midfield depth at the end of the season, and Fuchs is appealing on a free transfer.
Dundee United fans worried about Fuchs
Dundee United were beaten 1-0 at home to Livingston on Saturday afternoon. That’s now three defeats in a row and just one point taken in the last four.
Fuchs is clearly a quality player but a couple of moments left fans a little worried.

After over-complicating matters outside his own box, Alan Forrest fired a shot just wide.
Fuchs didn’t quite learn his lesson. Again, he was caught dallying on the ball inside his own half, and after trying to make up for his error, he gave away a penalty.
Some may point the finger of blame at goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist, who made a strange decision to give Fuchs the ball with his back to play.
Either way, fans are little concerned about Fuchs.
Dundee United supporters feel that Fuchs may have had his head turned by Rangers and Celtic.
Some don’t want Fuchs talking about other clubs whilst playing for United, and are worried his heart just isn’t in it anymore.
There isn’t a great deal of proof of that, but this is what football fans worry about – especially when Rangers and Celtic come calling.
