Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers could lose Carlos Pena for a couple of games.

Rangers midfielder Carlos Pena is facing a “potential two-game ban” if he is charged and found guilty of elbowing Hamilton’s Greg Docherty on Friday night.
The 27-year-old appeared to swing an arm at Docherty during Rangers’ 4-1 win over Accies last week.

The Daily Mail has reported that Pena – a £2.5 million signing in the summer – could miss the Gers’ next two matches through suspension if Scottish FA compliance officer Tony McGlennan decides to take action against the out-of-sorts Mexican.
The Mail also claims that McGlennan has until 3pm today to make a decision and will only proceed if he believes that referee Andrew Dallas did not see the incident.

Suspension would be another step in the wrong direction for a player who is struggling to live up to his hype following a big-money move from Leon.
Pena has only managed one goal in six Premiership outings for Pedro Caixinha’s side and had another ruled out by Dallas on Friday after scoring with his hand.
