Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has already suggested that he would love to keep Ovie Ejaria at Ibrox.

While Ovie Ejaria struggled during Rangers’ defeat at the weekend, he has arguably been a very good loan signing for the Gers, showing a lot of bright moments and looking to have a real touch of class within his game.
It should have probably surprised few supporters therefore, when Steven Gerrard suggested, in comments reported by The Scottish Sun last month, that Ejaria was one of the loanees that he would already like to sign on a permanent basis.
Ejaria has made a very bright start to his Rangers career. And when you consider the success that parent club Liverpool are enjoying right now, it would perhaps be a surprise if Jurgen Klopp had too many qualms about the idea of letting the midfielder leave for Ibrox permanently.
And if Liverpool land their latest reported target, you would imagine that the chances of Rangers signing Ejaria would increase significantly.
It was reported from the Daily Mirror at the weekend that the Reds are interested in signing Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal having failed in the summer in their attempts to sign the Wales international – who earns £110,000-a-week at the Emirates, according to Spotrac.

Liverpool are determined to get something done for Ramsey, and with contract talks with the Gunners being shelved, it would appear that it may be a safe bet to expect the midfielder to end up at Anfield.
Ejaria’s prospects of making the grade on Merseyside already arguably look slightly bleak, so you would have to think that Ramsey arriving and pushing him further down the pecking order would leave Liverpool more willing to listen to any permanent offers from Gerrard.
