With that in mind, Partick talent Cooper is a top target for Rangers this summer.
Rangers want to sign Cameron Cooper
Rangers always have their eyes on top talents around Scotland in the hope of moulding stars of the future.
Partick Thistle ace Cooper is now on the wish list and there has been a potential swap deal mooted this week.
The Daily Record claimed that Rangers could send youngsters Kai Kennedy and James Maxwell to Partick.
That could form part of a deal for Cooper to join Rangers with the Gers thrashing out a deal.
Cooper, 16, is considered to be one of the top young talents in Scotland and Rangers are making their move.

The Scottish Sun now claim that Cooper was looking likely to join West Ham United as they held discussions with Partick over a deal.
Sheffield United and Leicester City were also keen but it’s Rangers who are now pushing themselves to the front of the queue.
Cooper would be yet another exciting attacking addition to Rangers’ youth ranks.
Tony Weston and Juan Alegria have both arrived in recent times to bolster the Rangers development setup.
With Rory Wilson looking likely to leave Rangers this summer, Cooper is seemingly being eyed up to replace him – and West Ham’s loss could be Rangers’ gain very soon.
