Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard wants to sign a number 10 for the Ibrox club in the January transfer window.

Gerrard, who was appointed the Rangers manager in the summer, has suggested that the Ibrox club are on the lookout for a playmaker.
“We have people here who can unlock defences – Scott Arfield, Ovie Ejaria or Daniel Candeias, maybe more from the side,” Gerrard told The Scottish Sun.
“We have those players here but what we haven’t got is a natural No10, someone who is described as No10 and that’s his job. So maybe in the future that might be an area we might look at.”

Need for a number 10
Rangers do have some wonderful attacking players, but the Ibrox club could do with a natural playmaker.
In recent matches against Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals and against Spartak Moscow at Ibrox in the Europa League, the Gers failed to unlock the opposition.
The problem that Rangers could face is whether any quality number 10 would be available in the January transfer window.
Rangers are fifth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 21 points from 11 matches, five points behind leaders Heart of Midlothian, who have played two more games.
The Gers will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Motherwell at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
