Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers will face Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the Old Firm derby this weekend.

Ibrox club Rangers will take on Celtic in the Old Firm derby on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers will head into the Scottish Premiership high on confidence and having booked their place in the group stage of the Europa League.
Morelos has been playing well for Rangers this season and has been among the goals, but the 22-year-old striker was sent off against FC Ufa in the Europa League playoff game on Thursday evening.
Rangers manager Gerrard, though, has suggested that the Colombian striker will start for the Gers against Celtic.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about Morelos starting against Celtic: “I’ll have no problem trusting him there at all. I trust the player. I love the player. You’ll see pretty soon how much I think of him. In the coming days, I hope we will manage to get the deal signed.
“But what I do need from Alfredo – and what the players need – is for him to take a bit more responsibility. The players love him. He’s a joker in the pack and they know what he gives them.
“But he just needs to keep channelling it in the right way because otherwise these referees won’t keep you on the pitch.”

Starting against Celtic
There are issues with Morelos’s temperament, and the striker does need to work on it, but there is no doubt over his quality.
Winning against Celtic will be massive for the Gers in their quest to challenge for the Scottish Premiership title this season, and it would make sense for Rangers manager Gerrard to include the talented and in-form Morelos against the Hoops.
