
Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard couldn’t believe it when he was told that this weekend would be his 75th game in charge at Ibrox.
Gerrard only took over at Rangers at the start of last season, but long runs in the cup competitions and European commitments, mean that his side have played a huge amount of games during that time.
And Gerrard admits that he has loved being at Rangers since taking over.
Gerrard’s 74th game in charge of Rangers could hardly have gone better last night, as they picked up a clean sheet and a victory against Feyenoord.
Rangers stood up to the test of taking on the Dutch side, as they picked up the three points at Ibrox.
It was a hugely impressive result for Gerrard’s men, as they got their Europa League group stage campaign off to an excellent start.
Gerrard’s 75th game in charge of Rangers will come on Sunday, when they take on St. Johnstone.
