Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want former Gers forward Kyle Lafferty back at Ibrox this summer.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
Ibrox club Rangers want to sign from Heart of Midlothian in the summer transfer window, according to BBC Sport.
It has been reported that talks between Rangers and Hearts are going on over the transfer of the Northern Ireland international forward.
Rangers manager Gerrard has refused to comment on speculation that the Gers are interested in former Norwich City man.
The Liverpool legend, though, has said that he is a big fan of Lafferty, who was on the books of Rangers from 2008 until 2012.
Gerrard said on BT Sport 1 on Sunday afternoon (2:53pm, August 19, 2018): “He is not our player at the moment, so I won’t comment on Kyle. He is a fantastic player, though. Big fan of him.”

Good signing for Rangers
Lafferty is a very good forward, and the Northern Ireland international will be a great addition to the current Rangers team.
Rangers are going strong at the moment, but the Gers could do with an experienced forward such as Lafferty. Both Alfredo Morelos and Umar Sadiq are very young strikers.
