According to The Daily Record, Rangers are interested in signing Maric from Osijek in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Gers have scouted the 23-year-old forward in recent months.
The report also claimed that the Croatia international forward is rated at £3 million.
Rangers manager Gerrard, though, seems unaware of the young forward, and the Liverpool legend has also responded to speculation linking the Gers with Andre Gray.
According to The Glasgow Evening Times, Rangers want to sign the 27-year-old striker on loan from Watford in the summer transfer window.
Gerrard has also said that there has been no bid for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.

According to Marca, Real Betis are keeping tabs on the Colombia international and are looking to sign him this summer (click here to read more).
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in the league, according to BBC Sport.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun: “Every time I pick a paper up we’re linked with three or four different people.
“There has been Andre Gray and the Croatian striker I’ve never clapped eyes on and didn’t even know existed.”
Gerrard added about Morelos: “I don’t know if there is any truth in it. Unless the board phone me and say, ‘We have received X, Y or Z’, I take no notice of it.”
