Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is reportedly on Derby County’s radar.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
According to The Daily Record, Derby in the Championship in England are interested in appointing Rangers boss Gerrard as their new manager.
Derby manager Frank Lampard is expected to leave for the managerial role at Chelsea, and the Rams have identified Gerrard as his replacement at the Pride Park Stadium, according to the report.
The report has also claimed that the former Premier League club will offer Gerrard £8 million as bonus if he leads the Rams to promotion from the Championship.
Rangers manager Gerrard, though, has said that he is happy at Ibrox, but the Liverpool legend is aware of reported interest in him from Derby.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun regarding speculation about Derby: “Yes, I’m aware of it. But there’s nothing to say on it.
I’m very happy to be the Rangers manager. My focus is on the up and coming season.”

Delight for Rangers fans
Gerrard has been superb for Rangers since he was appointed in the managerial role at Ibrox last summer.
Under the former Liverpool midfielder, the Gers have progressed well and finished second in the Scottish Premiership this past season.
Rangers will be aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the league title next season.
