The Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, has refused to follow Neil Lennon’s lead by putting a price tag on one of his side’s form players.

Gerrard’s Celtic counterpart told The Scottish Sun earlier this week that he would ask for at least £25 million to part with James Forrest, after the Bhoys winger signed a new four-year contract.

Ryan Jack recently did likewise with Rangers, and justified that with another standout performance against Ross County on Wednesday.

But when asked how much he thinks Jack is worth, Gerrard replied via the Rangers Youtube channel: “I’m not interested.

“He’s not going anywhere.”

Jack’s Rangers teammates, Alfredo Morelos and Glen Kamara, are said to have caught the eye of clubs south of the border of late.
