Both Rangers and Celtic go into the international break level on points in the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has praised Celtic for their performances this week as he stated that they are in ‘excellent’ form and they don’t seem to be ‘dropping many points’.
Both Celtic and Rangers secured wins in their respective games on Sunday, days after the Old Firm duo enjoyed memorable nights in the Europa League.
Celtic booked their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League on Thursday night when they secured a memorable win over Lazio.
Speaking to Sky Sports Football (10/11/2019 at 5:15 pm), Gerrard stated that he is well aware that his team need to stay hot on Celtic’s heels.
On remaining level with Celtic: “Celtic are in excellent form,” Gerrard told Sky Sports. “They have had a big week themselves, scoring goals heavily and they don’t seem to be dropping many points. Therefore, it’s important to continue to do what we need to do by winning and staying there.”

Only goal difference separates both Celtic and Rangers, at this moment in time, as the international break kicks.
When players return from national duty, there will be a number of tasty fixtures to look forward to, including two Old Firm matches, one in the Scottish League Cup final, and the other in the Premiership.
By the time the Premiership encounter comes about, both Celtic and Rangers might be in a position where they are still level on points, so that game could have huge bearings on who goes into the winter break full of confidence.
