The Ibrox midfielder has signed a new long-term contract at Rangers.

Jack has committed his future to the Ibrox side until the summer of 2023, an extension of two years compared to his prior contract.
The 27-year-old will now spend the best years of his career at the club.
He’s emerged as one of the prime picks in Gerrard’s starting eleven over the last 12 months. A leader on and off the pitch, some fans are even predicting he could be a future captain.
Going by the Gers boss’ recent comments, that might not be an outlandish prediction.
As quoted by rangers.co.uk, Gerrard said of the player: “We’re delighted that Ryan has extended his contract with the club. He is a very easy to manage and is a real leader and winner on the pitch.
“Ryan sets very high standards for himself and for others around him and that is exactly the kind of player and mentality that we want in throughout our squad.
“We believe that there is a lot more to come from him before he reaches his potential and we look forward to working with him for the next few years.”
Will Jack wear the armband one day?
With criticism of James Tavernier ramping up in recent weeks, there’s a chance that the club captain could drop out of the team, or at least be rested more regularly.
In the matches he’s been absent this season Connor Goldson and Andy Halliday have been captain for the day, although Jack didn’t appear in either match.
The way Gerrard talks about the player, it certainly sounds like he’d be a contender if the right-back finds that his poor form catches up with him.

Jack has a lifelong passion for Rangers and as his manager says is often one of the driving forces behind performances on the pitch.
As he becomes ever more influential, it’d be no surprise to see him fill in as captain or, one day in the future, named as the official club captain.
