Borna Barisic was one of the heroes for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers on Thursday.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has paid tribute to the ‘outstanding’ Borna Barisic.
The Gers got their Europa League campaign off to a flyer on Thursday night by beating Feyenoord 1-0 at Ibrox.
Sheyi Ojo was the hero after scoring the first-half winner, but a number of other Rangers players had big roles in the win and Barisic, the left-back, was one of them.
Barisic set up Ojo’s goal and also posted another solid defensive display.
It seems strange now, but it looked for all the world that the Rangers manager would offload the Croatia international during the summer transfer window following a poor first season in Glasgow after moving for £2.2 million.
Before the summer, Gerrard hinted that he and Eros Grezda – who also remained at the club – could leave, but Barisic looks a man reborn now and his manager was full of praise for him.
He told The Scottish Sun: “Borna was outstanding last night, he is the Croatian left-back and he is used to these high-pressure games.
“He is very highly respected by the staff and in the dressing room.”
