Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers lost against Neil Lennon’s Celtic in the Old Firm derby.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has criticised Celtic midfielder Scott Brown, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Gerrard, who was appointed the Rangers manager in the summer of 2018, was not impressed with Brown’s behaviour and conduct during the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park at the weekend.
During the Scottish Premiership game between Celtic and Rangers in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon, the 33-year-old former Scotland international was involved in separate incidents with Rangers trio Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Andy Halliday.
Star striker Morelos was sent off for an elbow on Brown, while Halliday was dismissed after the full-time whistle for confronting the Celtic midfielder while he was celebrating in front of the Rangers fans.
Rangers manager Gerrard has strongly criticised Brown, and believes that the 33-year-old – who has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million – should have been punished.
Gerrard told BBC Sport about Brown: “You’re playing against a player who loves to antagonise. Morelos and Kent are both provoked.
“Celtic fans have the right to celebrate but to do it right in your face, Halliday has the right to protect his own people. “
The guy who antagonised it all from the beginning deserves to be punished as well. When you’re provoked, it’s only fair that both sides get punished in my view.”
