Rangers manager Mark Warburton has told the club’s official website that he will have a drink with Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers after this weekend’s game between the two teams.
The Gers will take on Old Firm rivals Celtic at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup on Sunday afternoon.
It promises to be a very competitive game of football and should have a few goals.
Rangers and Celtic are fierce rivals, but Warburton has revealed that he will have a drink with Rodgers after the match on Sunday afternoon.

“Brendan and I don’t speak unfortunately and I think that is just the nature of it,” Warburton told Rangers’ official website. “I knew a few of the guys at Celtic through the Next Gen tournament but it’s just the nature of the beast because everyone is busy in football.
“Everyone works seven days a week in football and you don’t get time to really socialise. In truth people should make more effort, me included, to make contact but it’s just the way it is.
“I will have a drink with him after the game, win, lose or draw we’ll always have a drink. Hampden is a bit different but at Ibrox we will and we did at Parkhead. You go in and show your face and you show common courtesy.”

Rangers have won their last two competitive league matches and will head into the match against Celtic with confidence.
The Gers, though, will not be favourites, as the Bhoys have the better team and better players.
Warburton’s side suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership in September.
That scoreline is unlikely to be repeated on Sunday afternoon, as Rangers will have surely learnt from the mistakes they made against the Bhoys.
