Mark Warburton has had a tough time of it as Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss recently.

Speaking to reporters and quoted by The Scotsman, Rangers boss Mark Warburton has intimated that he does not have one iota of respect for Chris Sutton.
The former Celtic striker offered very strong views on the 53-year-old on Sunday, telling BT Sport prior to the Hoops’ draw with Inverness: “They’ve just had their pants pulled down by their biggest rivals and he’s coming out moaning about negativity? ‘The job’s too big for him, in my view.”

The comments came after the Rangers boss said that the Gers’ 0-0 draw with Ross County a day previous was his side’s best performance of the season, having lost 5-1 at Celtic the week before.
Asked by reporters at a press conference what he made of Sutton’s sentiments, Warburton responded with a strong message of his own, as quoted by The Scotsman: “I was brought up to only value the opinions of people you have any iota of respect for. Take of that what you will.”
Sutton has found work as a pundit in recent years following his retirement in 2012, having previously managed Lincoln City for a year between 2009 and 2010.

It has been a testing last week or so for the Rangers boss, who not only had to contend with the Old Firm defeat, but Joey Barton has since been suspended for three weeks following a training-ground disagreement before the Ross County stalemate.
Warburton has also had to manage the Scottish press, but overall the ex-Brentford boss will be determined to succeed at Ibrox as the negativity increases.
