Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers won against Motherwell away from Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.
Caixinha was not entirely pleased with the performance of Windass for Rangers against Motherwell away from home at the Fir Park Stadium at the weekend.
The 23-year-old midfielder started the Scottish Premiership match for the Ibrox outfit on Sunday afternoon and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The Gers won the encounter 2-1, with Graham Dorrans scoring twice and Windass hitting the woodwork twice in the first half.
Rangers manager Caixinha seems to have criticised the former Accrington Stanley star despite his impressive performance against Motherwell.

“Normally people only see the game on the brighter side,” Caixinha told The Daily Mail. “Did you see who didn’t get on the wall when we conceded the equaliser? Did you see who lost the ball in the second half and we almost got caught on transition?
“Josh is a player who needs to have more confidence – and they all have that – but he needs to learn with the process. It is not only about the bright things. You have to be switched on all the time.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Fir Park Stadium on Sunday afternoon, visitors Rangers had 51% of the possession, took 15 shots of which three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Rangers will be looking to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title this season.
