Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers spent £1 million on the 21-year-old.
Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has told The Scottish Herald that he likes the look of striker Alfredo Morelos so far – and claims he will “definitely” be worth a lot more than the £1 million it cost to sign him this summer.
The Colombian hitman has looked a very decent signing for Rangers so far and has netted three times in four games for the Ibrox club already.
The 21-year-old had an outstanding record at former club HJK Helsinki, netting 40 times in 54 games for the Finnish side.

And although the Gers boss is delighted with the youngster so far, he adds that it is important to give him time to fully settle in Glasgow.
Caixinha told The Scottish Herald: “He’ll definitely be worth a lot more money in a few years than we paid for him. With his age and what he’s doing with his passion and desire, yes definitely.
“But we need to give him time because he’s only a young boy. He’s 21 and so far looks very good.”
Morelos could be brilliant, but Rangers’ 0-0 draw with Hearts on Saturday suggests that Caixinha needs further options up front.
He has Kenny Miller, 37, and unproven Carlos Pena as alternatives, but the transfer window is drawing to a close and the Portuguese boss really should consider bringing in more attacking quality.
Morelos cost Rangers £1 million, according to The Scottish Sun.
