Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers made Lee Hodson their eighth signing of the summer.
Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has told the Scottish club’s official site that he has been chasing Lee Hodson for a large amount of time.
Hodson has joined Rangers from MK Dons, and he has penned a three-year deal at Ibrox.
The 24-year-old will be expected to challenge James Tavernier for a place on the right hand side of Rangers’ defence.
And Warburton said: “I think coming to Rangers we need players who can deal with the pressure of playing for the club in terms of the demands both on and off the field.
“We’ve chased him for a few weeks and we’re just delighted to get him. He’s been away at the Euros and we know that he is quality.
“He’s a very competent performer and has good attributes. He’s very good technically and mentally and he will deal with the expectation, so he’s a very good addition to our squad.”
Hodson has become Rangers’ eighth signing of the summer already, with the Glasgow side being extremely active.
Warburton wants to add depth to his squad, as Rangers look to compete in the Scottish Premiership again.
Rangers are expected to add at least another two players before the close of the transfer window.
Rangers are currently training in America, as they step up their preparations for next campaign.
Hodson will not join up with his new Rangers teammates until they return from their tour of the United States.
