Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will face Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic next weekend.

Murty’s Rangers will take on Old Firm rivals Celtic at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup next Sunday afternoon.
Celtic will head into the tie on the back of a 2-1 victory over Hamilton Academical away from home in the Scottish Premiership, while Rangers got the better of Dundee 4-0 at Ibrox in the league this weekend.

“We have to make sure our level of performance matches the game plan,” Murty told The Telegraph. “We have to be better at matching their threats because they have quality players all over the pitch.
“We have to understand that and adjust our game accordingly. A clean sheet would be fantastic.”
“We have to be tighter,” added Murty. “We have to be more compact without the ball, while still posing them the threat that we did with the ball. But for the width of a goalpost, everything could be very, very different right now.”

Easier said than done
Celtic have the best attacking unit in Scotland, and it is hard to see the Hoops not score against Rangers at Hampden Park.
The Gers have not been great defensively so far this season, and the Bhoys should score at least once at Hampden Park.
However, Rangers will be encouraged by the fact that last week Brendan Rodgers’s side failed to score against Dundee at Celtic Park.
That could have been a one-off, but it showed that the Hoops could be stopped.
