Glasgow Rangers earned a hard-fought victory over Hearts on Saturday.
Gers interim boss Graeme Murty explained to reporters how he did not enjoy his return to the dug-out, despite his side beating Hearts 3-1, as quoted by the Daily Record.
Rangers earned a valuable three points with goals from Kenny Miller (2) and Josh Windass, despite conceding first against Craig Levein’s side, and in doing so, cut the gap between them and bitter rivals Celtic back to just six points.
Murty is a popular figure at Ibrox, after his relatively successful previous spell in temporary charge of the club eight months ago, and it would be hard to argue against him getting the job on a permanent basis.
It is debatable whether the 42-year-old is cut-out for full-time management, however.
“No. I was always wanting to know if I had done enough – had I covered that in pre-match? Had I done this, had I done that? I eventually managed to let it go and let the players go and do their thing, and trust the players to go and carry it out. But, on the side lines, it is always a test for the emotions.”

Rangers have a fantastic opportunity to record back-to-back with a home game against Partick Thistle on Saturday, and Murty will likely lead the team out once again, as the Glasgow giant’s search for a new manager continues.
