Glasgow Rangers boss Graeme Murty has brought four players to Ibrox on loan this month already.

Graeme Murty has suggested to Rangers TV that he is not expecting any deals to be done before the week is out.

Murty has enjoyed a productive transfer window so far and has wrapped up loan deals for Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy, Jason Cummings and Russell Martin – the latter two joined this week.

But there is plenty more speculation around, with The Sun reporting that former Gers loanee Emerson Hyndman is set for a return to Ibrox, while Kilmarnock knocked back a £350,000 bid for winger Jordan Jones earlier this week (BBC Sport).

It seems like the 43-year-old is far from done in this window, but Murty played down the prospect of getting any more deals done soon.

He told Rangers TV when asked if any more arrivals would happen this week: “By the end of the window, maybe.

“Things are ongoing and always ongoing in a transfer window.

“It’s a really, really busy time and I expect people to come and enquire about some of our players and I expect to enquire about other players.

“But, I obviously don’t think it’s right to talk about them until it’s done.”

The fact that the former Reading defender is expecting enquiries about his players sounds ominous, and could it mean regarding Josh Windass?

The Record reported on Wednesday that Leeds United are interested in bringing the resurgent attacker to the Championship, but surely losing him would be a big blow for Murty.
