Rangers boss Steven Gerrard may now regret comments made early in the season.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will be reflecting on where it all went wrong this morning.
The Gers were knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Aberdeen, their second cup defeat by the Dons this season.
It was especially galling for Rangers to lose at Ibrox, defeated 2-0 without putting up much of a fight.
The warning signs were there back in August, when Rangers struggled to break Aberdeen down, only drawing 1-1.
It was after that game when Rangers boss Gerrard made comments which have come back to haunt him and his side spectacularly.
Gerrard told Sky Sports: “We’re a class above Aberdeen.”
This may even have served to gee up Aberdeen in future clashes between the two teams.

Stylistically, the two clubs play differently, with Aberdeen bringing a more dogged and defensive approach compared to Rangers’ attempts to play a more pass heavy style.
Gerrard’s comments came across as disrespectful at the time, and Aberdeen have proved him wrong.
Rangers’ 4-2 win at Pittodrie in the league last month has been the exception to the rule, the only time in six matches this season where Gerrard’s side have emerged victorious.
A class above? No chance.
