Rangers played out a goalless draw with Kilmarnock at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Rangers manager Mark Warburton has told the club’s official website that Rob Kiernan’s injury is not serious.
The 25-year-old defender picked up an injury in the second half of the Scottish Cup fifth-round tie against Kilmarnock at Ibrox in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon.
Kiernan limped off in the 74th minute, as Rangers played out a goalless draw with the Scottish Premiership outfit in Glasgow.
Warburton has played down the injury picked up by the former Watford prospect, and believes that it is not a major issue.
“For Rob, it was just some tight calves, but it will be sorted out no problem,” the Englishman told Rangers’ official website.
The goalless draw in Glasgow means that Rangers will play against Kilmarnock away from home in the replay.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, the Gers had 56% of the possession, took 19 shots of which just four were on target, and earned 12 corners.
Visitors Kilmarnock had 44% of the possession, took five shots of which two were on target, and earned three corners.
