Newly appointed Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has addressed the video which emerged last week of him congratulating Celtic.
Caixinha was filmed while boss of Mexican side Santos Laguna wishing Celtic well in 2015 after winning the league title, due to a link up between the two green and white clubs, with the Daily Record posting the video online.
The Portuguese boss referred to the Glasgow giants as his ‘Celtic brothers’, a comment which certainly looked awkward last week.

Speaking at his press conference, Caixinha was predictably quizzed about the video, and he did his best to dismiss it.
He said: “I was working with Santos Laguna, they asked me to do that and I did it.
“It was a quite normal situation to do it, between two clubs which have that relations and at that time it happened.”
Caixinha began his press conference by insisting Rangers are Scotland’s biggest club, pointing to the fact they were formed first, and have 54 league titles.
His brief is to deliver number 55, and while he faces an uphill challenge, he spoke with confidence and exuded a charisma which suggested he has a firm belief he can do it.
