Borna Barisic of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers comments on his injuries.

Borna Barisic has revealed to Sportske Novosti that he has been advised to skip Rangers games against teams with artificial pitches.
The Croatia left-back has had a stop-start first season with Rangers following a £2.2 million move last summer [The Record].
His first injury came away to Livingston on the artificial surface at the Tony Macaroni Arena, and Barisic has since missed away trips to Hamilton and Kilmarnock.
Despite some injury woes, the 26-year-old has enjoyed a decent first season at Ibrox in the eyes of many, but the former Osijek defender admits that he himself isn’t all that chuffed with his own debut term.
He told Sportske Novosti: “I didn’t play at Hamilton because it was an artificial pitch.
“And I also missed the game at Kilmarnock for the same reason. I’ve been advised to skip games on those surfaces. Because I suffered an injury on an artificial pitch, I really don’t like playing on them.
“The last time when I was injured, I returned too early. I can’t say I have been completely satisfied with my first full season at Rangers because I’ve had some injuries.”
Andy Halliday has deputised well for Barisic at left-back this season, and presumably he will do so again when Steven Gerrard’s side next visit Killie, Hamilton or Livingston.
The Gers are second in the Scottish Premiership, and take on Aberdeen in a Scottish Cup quarter-final tomorrow.
