Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers will have to pay £7.5 million for Andreas Skov Olsen, the same transfer fee they paid to Liverpool for Ryan Kent, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic have reported that Rangers are interested in signing Olsen from Bologna in the January transfer window.
Bologna are willing to sell the Denmark international winger this month and are looking for £7.5 million as transfer fee.
That, according to The Athletic, is the same transfer fee that Rangers had to pay Liverpool to make winger Kent’s loan deal permanent.
Andreas Skov Olsen would make Rangers better
In our view, Olsen would make Rangers a better and more potent team in attack, just as Kent has.
Rangers legend Brian Laudrup said this week that Olsen is “fantastic” and would be a good signing for the Gers, as quoted in The Daily Record.

The youngster is only 22, so, like Kent when he joined Rangers, he has room to grow and develop in the coming years.
Olsen has been playing in Serie A since 2019, and that shows the quality of player he is.
The 22-year-old has made five starts and 11 substitute appearances in Serie A so far this season, providing two assists in the process.
The Bologna no. 11 made 12 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the league last season, scoring two gals and providing two assists in the process.
