Rangers loanee Lassana Coulibaly returned at the weekend and showed how much he was missed against Celtic.

Rangers rightfully have a few regrets about their recent defeat to Celtic.
Notably the short turnaround time from their trip to Russia, poor performances, and biggest of all, the absence of midfielder Lassana Coulibaly.
Coulibaly missed the Old Firm derby through injury, and made his return this weekend.
The 22-year-old was outstanding in Rangers’ win over Dundee, and helped himself to a goal in the process.
The all action midfielder was largely unheard of in Britain before his loan move from French side Angers.
He is making a bit of a name for himself now, scoring twice in six appearances for Rangers.
If a fresh Coulibaly had been available against Celtic, he could have made all the difference for Steven Gerrard’s side.

Not having him available was unfortunate, and he demonstrated his importance to the side against Dundee.
Celtic’s slip up against St Mirren combined with Rangers win means the gap between the two clubs is just two points in the table.
Coulibaly is going to be crucial to Rangers’ league form this season, and might even get a chance against Celtic in December.
