Rangers players and manager Steven Gerrard have taken much of the praise after the Light Blues lifted the Scottish Premiership title for the first time in a decade – and Ibrox coach Mick Beale has paid tribute to the Ibrox staff who played a vital role in the title triumph.

As the Gers players and staff head off for a much-needed rest after a historic campaign, Beale made sure to highlight the work done by the team of coaches, analysts, medical staff and others who made the title dream happen.

Beale said on Twitter that it was an “absolute pleasure” to work with the backroom team at Ibrox this season as the Gers romped to a 23-point gap at the top of the table, setting a number of records along the way.

Gerrard’s backroom staff includes the likes of Colin Stewart, Dr. Mark Waller and Jordan Milson.

As well as their impressive domestic form, the Light Blues also caught the eye for their performances in Europe as they reached the last 16 of the Europa League.

After getting their hands on the title – their first silverware in three years at Ibrox – Gerrard, Beale and the rest of the Ibrox staff will now be looking to add far more as they prepare for the new season.
