Rangers left back Borna Barisic may be staying at Ibrox after all.

Rangers left back Borna Barisic hasn’t quite lived up to expectations since joining the club from Osijek last summer, and fans are still waiting for him to really settle.
The Gers swooped to sign Barisic after he impressed against them in the Europa League qualifiers last summer, with the club seemingly feeling they had found their new left back for the long-term.
However, the 26-year-old has yet to really put together a consistent run of strong performances, leaving many Rangers fans to wonder whether he’s got a long-term future at Ibrox.
On Thursday, Barisic was hooked at half time against Progres Niederkorn, but boss Steven Gerrard suggested that it was just down to him being on a yellow card, rather than because of his performance.
Still a regular with the Croatian national team, Barisic has actually been linked with a move away, as Soccer Link in France reported that Dijon wanted to sign him.
Now though, that same source report that Dijon appear to have abandoned their interest in Barisic, as they’re set to sign Ngonda Muzinga from AS Vita Club in DR Congo.

Muzinga, 24, played at left back for DR Congo at the Africa Cup of Nations, and has seemingly done enough to earn himself a move to Ligue 1.
Barisic may now have to stay at Ibrox beyond the end of the transfer window, and will attempt to prove himself to Gerrard once again.
