Rangers ask fans to provide questions for Josh Windass. It was always going to be trouble…

It is fair to say Josh Windass has not had the smoothest of journeys at Rangers, and some of his troubles are self inflicted.
The talented Rangers midfielder’s goal return last season highlighted his ability, but this was offset by games and parts of matches where he went missing, and social media mishaps.

Windass divides opinion at Ibrox, and when Rangers asked supporters to send him questions on Twitter for a question and answer session, it was always going to be asking for trouble.
Rangers supporters who do not have much of a liking for Windass did not waste the opportunity to take a pop at the former Accrington Stanley midfielder.
Here is a look at some of the responses to the invitation to question Windass…
Windass has a fresh start at Rangers again this summer under Steven Gerrard and is not expected to be moving on any time soon.
The 24-year-old is under contract at Ibrox until 2021 and his 18 goals in all competitions last season should speak volumes for his talent.
It is up to new boss Gerrard to focus Windass and help him become a more well rounded player fans can appreciate more, while retaining his goalscoring edge.
