Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Greg Docherty to Ibrox; he would be a great signing for the Gers.

Rangers have made a move for Hamilton Academical star Greg Docherty, according to The Daily Record.
It has been reported that Rangers have opened talks with Hamilton over a £600,000 deal for the Scotland Under-21 international midfielder.

This means that Rangers are (reportedly) just £150,000 shy of signing one of the best young players in Scotland in the January transfer window.
The Gers are not exactly flowing with money, but the Ibrox club should still pay the extra cash needed to sign Docherty.

Premier League club Swansea City and Championship duo Cardiff City and Millwall are interested in the Scotsman, according to The Scottish Sun, and this underlines just how high rated he is and how big a coup it would be if they were to sign him.
True, Docherty is still learning his game and is developing, but he could be a star of the future for Rangers, who should not pass up the opportunity to sign the promising and talented 21-year-old for an extra £150,000.
