Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers have been linked with Craig Bryson but the midfielder could stay under Frank Lampard at Derby County instead.

Derby County are in talks to tie long-serving midfielder Craig Bryson down to a new contract, according to the Derby Telegraph – meaning the window of opportunity is creaking shut for Rangers.
The 32-year-old has been a Derby player for the last eight years but his time at Pride Park appeared to be coming to an end with the Scot’s contract due to expire in the summer.
He has been heavily linked with a return to his homeland, the Daily Record reporting in January that Steven Gerrard wanted to bring Bryson to Rangers.
But it seems that Gerrard’s former England international Frank Lampard is keen to keep Bryson in the East Midlands with the Telegraph reporting that The Rams have now opened talks over extending his stay.

So Rangers will have to make a decision and fast. Do they step up their interest in a player who could bring experience and drive to Ibrox? Or does Gerrard simply have enough midfielders at his disposal already?
The Glasgow giants confirmed last week that they had signed Southampton’s Steven Davis on a permanent basis while the former Liverpool skipper is expected to give Greg Docherty and Jason Holt a fresh start next season.
