Rangers are favourites to bring Oli McBurnie to Ibrox.

Glasgow Rangers are the bookies favourites to sign Oli McBurnie, but only narrowly.
Boyhood Gers fan McBurnie makes no secret of his passion for the Gers and was linked with a move to the club in January, before signing with Barnsley on loan.
He was signed by manager Paul Heckingbottom, who moved to Leeds soon after. He had signed him last August too before late paperwork scotched the deal.

It was no surprise then that the Yorkshire Evening Post reported Leeds wanted McBurnie last month – but their chances may have taken a critical blow.
Leeds sacking Paul Heckingbottom damages their chances, despite the bookies rating them highly.
SkyBet price Rangers as 10/11 favourites, with Leeds following at 10/3.

In reality Rangers should be far further ahead and Leeds’ odds should be much higher after Heckingbottom’s sacking.
That isn’t the only challenge to Leeds, after Swansea City’s relegation.
McBurnie has proved he can score goals at Championship level, and Swansea would be incredibly naive to let him go to a competitor.
They might not want to let him go at all, although with one year left on his contract, they are under a bit of pressure.
If any club takes advantage, Rangers are most likely, by further than the bookies currently indicate.
