Rangers want Antonio Colak and the PAOK striker is now ready to snub four clubs in order to make a big move to Ibrox this summer.

It’s absolutely clear that Rangers need to bring in another striker this summer to bolster Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s front line.

Alfredo Morelos could be on the move this summer but Rangers need more goals regardless.

Kemar Roofe’s injury problems have left Rangers short at times whilst Cedric Itten has now been sold.

Fashion Sakala seems to be more of a winger than a striker, so it’s now imperative that Rangers bring in a centre forward.

Rangers want Antonio Colak

Reports in Greece last week suggested that Rangers had made a first bid for PAOK striker Colak.

The claims were that Rangers’ offer wasn’t to PAOK’s liking and that they need to increase their bid to land the Croatian international.

The Daily Record now claim that Colak does want to sign for Rangers this summer.

PAOK are sticking to their £2.6million asking price though and have taken Colak on their pre-season training camp, meaning Rangers still have work to do.

The Scottish Sun also add that four other clubs want to sign Colak, but the striker is ready to snub them all in favour of Rangers having loved the Ibrox atmosphere last year.

That’s a major boost for the Gers, but they are still around £750,000 away form meeting PAOK’s asking price.

Colak, 28, may be familiar to some Rangers fans after he scored twice for Malmo at Ibrox last year.

That result sent Malmo through in the Champions League qualifiers at Rangers’ expense.

Colak has been something of a nomad in his career though, spending time with Karlsruher, Nurnberg, Lechia Gdansk, Hoffenheim, Kaiserslautern, Darmstadt, Ingolstadt, Rijeka, PAOK and Malmo.

Colak has failed to really settle down with any club, but his impressive goalscoring for Rijeka and Malmo will attract Rangers.

A deal seems to be there if Rangers want it, and they will hope to see Colak finally settle down for a few years if a deal is done.
