Glasgow Rangers are reportedly hoping to bring Sheyi Ojo to Ibrox this summer.

A number of Rangers and Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Star which have suggested that Sheyi Ojo is about to sign a new contract at Anfield before immediately heading to Ibrox for a loan spell.
Ojo appears to be in a difficult position in his Reds career. He has previously found himself in Jurgen Klopp’s plans, but has spent the majority of his time in senior football out on loan, with the last two years being spent at Fulham and Stade de Reims.
It may surprise some Reds fans therefore, that he is set to sign a new five-year deal on Merseyside, according to the Daily Star, and will then head to the Gers on loan ahead of next season.
Steven Gerrard has a mixed record when it comes to taking Liverpool players on loan, with Ryan Kent returning to Anfield having enjoyed a very good year with the Gers, but Ovie Ejaria not enjoying the same success.

The reports have attracted a mixed response from the Rangers supporters on social media. Some have suggested that they would rather see Gerrard hand more chances to the club’s own youngsters, or would prefer to see Kent come back for a second spell instead.
But one fan has suggested that they feel that Ojo is a better player. And it appears that some of the Liverpool fans on Twitter agree that Ojo is a more exciting talent than Kent, which will please the Ibrox faithful.
