Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers are claimed to want Swansea City’s Oliver McBurnie at Ibrox, and Leeds United are reportedly interested in the striker as well.

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers reportedly want to bring Oliver McBurnie to Ibrox from Swansea City in the summer transfer window, while Leeds United are also claimed to want to secure the services of the 21-year-old striker.
According to The Sun, new Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has made an opening £4m offer for the Scotland international striker, while The Yorkshire Evening Post reported earlier this month that Leeds want the former Bradford City striker in the summer transfer window.

Rangers and Leeds, though, may not find it easy to prise away McBurnie from Swansea, now that the Swans have been relegated to the Championship.
The Welsh club would be aiming to bounce straight back to the Premier League, and they would want to retain the services of a striker who has proved himself in the Championship.

McBurnie did brilliantly during his loan spell at Barnsley in the second half of the season, scoring nine goals in 16 Championship starts for the Tykes.
Leeds will also be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship next season, and Swansea may not be willing to sell the 21-year-old Scotland international striker, who earns £260,000 per year as salary according to Spotrac.com, to a direct rival.
