Glasgow Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty reportedly has admirers should he be available to leave Ibrox this summer.

Several Rangers and Hibernian fans have taken to social media to comment on reports from The Scottish Sun this week which have suggested that Paul Heckingbottom is keen to sign Gers midfielder Greg Docherty should Steven Gerrard make him available this summer.
Docherty has enjoyed a fantastic campaign out on loan, scoring 10 goals for Shrewsbury and arguably proving to be the League One side’s best player.
Nevertheless, there appears to be a question mark hanging over his future at Ibrox. Gerrard has no shortage of options in the middle of the park, and it is difficult to currently see Docherty forcing his way into the starting lineup on a regular basis.
The Scottish Sun suggests that there is now a queue of admirers waiting to see if Gerrard makes the 22-year-old available at the end of the season, and Hibs are the team leading the charge.

But it is clear that the Gers supporters are desperate for Gerrard to include the midfielder in his plans for next season. They feel that he has a lot of potential, and selling him to a Scottish Premiership rival would be a real mistake.
Meanwhile, plenty of Hibs fans would love to see Docherty make the move to Easter Road, though they are not optimistic that Rangers would be willing to sell the youngster when the window opens.
