Burnley beat Southampton 1-0 thanks to a Joey Barton free-kick.
Burnley have defeated Southampton at Turf Moor today, with a solitary goal proving the difference. That goal, came courtesy of Rangers flop Joey Barton.
The veteran midfielder scored a free-kick after coming off the bench, past former Celtic favourite Fraser Forster, to rub in a pinch of irony to disheartened Rangers fans watching on.

During his time at Ibrox the midfielder struggled to find his best form for the club. He then found himself in disciplinary trouble and before you knew it he was gone, a flop, a dud, a really bad buy from Mark Warburton.
It seems that the pair simply did not click right and Barton was seemingly a divisive figure in the Rangers dressing room.
But he arrived as one of the best players in the Championship the season previously and this cameo proves he still has something to give as a player.
