The Daily Record has reported that Rangers are interested in signing Souttar from Scottish Premiership rivals Heart of Midlothian in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Hearts will look at least £3m for the 22-year-old central defender, with TEAMtalk reporting of Derby’s interest in the youngster.
The Rams are in the Championship at the moment, but Lampard’s team will play in the Premier League next season if they win the playoff final against Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium in London next Monday.

Promising defender
Souttar is far from the finished article, but the Hearts star is very talented and is hugely promising.
The former Dundee central defender has played well for his side this season, and he will be a smart long-term signing for Rangers and Derby.
According to WhoScored, the 22-year-old made 23 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Hearts this season.
