Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants to sign John McGinn.

Rangers are interested in signing McGinn from Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Record.
It has been reported that former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard, who will take charge of the Rangers first team from next month, is considering making a move for the 23-year-old Scotland international midfielder.
Celtic have also been linked with a move for McGinn. Back in June 2017, The Express reported that Celtic were planning to sign the midfielder from Hibernian in the summer of 2017, while a report in ChronicleLive in February 2018 stated that the performances of the Hibs star this season have caught the eye of the Glasgow giants.
McGinn was in action for Hibernian against Rangers at Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon, and the 23-year-old Scotland international midfielder has admitted that he could have played his final match.

The Scottish Sun quotes McGinn as saying when asked if the match against Rangers could be his last for Hibernian: “I’m not sure – it could possibly be. But at the same time, I could have 41 games left.
“It just depends what happens after I sit down with my family and with the club to decide what’s best for me. I just want to play at the highest level I possibly can.”

Quality footballer
McGinn is a superb footballer who has been an important player for Hibernian this season.
The midfielder has scored five goals and provided four assists in 30 Scottish Premiership appearances for Hibs this campaign, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
