According to the British tabloid, Graeme Murty’s Rangers and Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have shown interest in securing the services of the 21-year-old in the summer of 2018 when his current contract with Sunderland runs out and he becomes a free agent.
The youngster will cost the Old Firm rivals £150,000 in training compensation in the summer, according to the report, which also claims that his market value is around £2 million.
Robson is a very talented and promising young midfielder who has featured in five Championship matches for Sunderland so far this season.
The midfielder would be a very good signing for Rangers or Celtic, but things could change between now and the end of the season.
The 21-year-old could well sign a new contract with Sunderland, and that could make it tricky for Rangers or Celtic to prise him away from the Black Cats at the end of the season.
