Uche Ikpeazu has been linked to both Celtic and Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers this month.

If you believe the rumours, Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing Uche Ikpeazu.

The Scottish Sun reported earlier this month that both Celtic and Rangers were considering moves to sign the burly 6 foot 3 Hearts striker this summer.

The 24-year-old has been in flying form since the Old Firm links, netting twice in his last three games – including one in a Scottish Cup semi-final against Inverness today.

But fans from Parkhead and Ibrox weren’t convinced by his all-round display this afternoon.

Despite opening the scoring, Ikpeazu looked rather sluggish for the Jambos and Celtic and Rangers supporters weren’t convinced that he would fit in with their team’s respective style.

Steven Gerrard will probably need a new striker this summer, even if Alfredo Morelos ends up staying in Glasgow, but based on today it doesn’t appear as if the English marksman would be a good fit.

He isn’t the mobile forward that Rangers or Celtic need and it’ll be a big shock if he winds up at either club.
