Ibrox side Rangers and Celtic are reportedly interested in signing outgoing Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor in the summer transfer window.

Rangers and Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the speculation linking the clubs with a move for Steven Taylor in the summer transfer window.
According to a recent report in The Daily Express, Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing the defender on a free transfer this summer.
Taylor will leave Championship outfit Newcastle United at the end of this month when his current contract runs out.
The Englishman is 30 years of age and is not exactly a ‘great’ defender, but he has overcome his recent injury problems and can be a decent addition to the Gers’ or the Bhoys’ squad.

Although initially Celtic were claimed to be interested in the defender, a recent report suggests that he could move to Rangers, who won the Scottish Championship this past season and will feature in the Scottish Premiership during the 2016-17 campaign.
According to STV, Taylor will travel to Glasgow on Monday for discussions with Rangers.
Rangers and Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the speculation regarding Taylor.
