Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has become known for hot-headed at Ibrox.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is almost as well known for his short temper as he is for his outstanding goalscoring record at Ibrox.

Morelos has racked up 59 goals in just two seasons for Rangers, and his exploits in front of goal have sparked major interest in his signature over the last year.

However, if there’s one thing that holds the Colombian back, it’s his disciplinary record. Remarkably, Morelos has picked up 30 yellow cards and five reds for Rangers, and those five reds all came last season.

Players know all too well now that, if you torment Morelos, prod at him and rile him up, he’s likely to blow up and get himself in trouble.

Celtic’s Scott Brown used that to his own benefit back in March, getting Morelos sent off in an off the ball spat – and the Bhoys’ latest signing has a little bit of previous too.

As reported by BBC Sport, Celtic are on the verge of signing Rapid Vienna left back Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo in a £3million swoop, easing fears about being left stuck if Kieran Tierney moves on.

Fans have now realised that the Belgian left back had a tiff with Morelos last season too, when Rangers played Rapid Vienna in the Europa League. The pair appeared to clash, with Bolingoli-Mbombo pushing the Rangers striker, who went down dramatically holding his face.

They will now seemingly face off again next season, and whilst the incident was nothing major – certainly not like Brown and Morelos in March – Celtic fans would no doubt love to see Bolingoli-Mbombo remember the spat and join Brown in winding up the Rangers striker next season.
