Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers youngster Ross McCrorie was not picked particularly regularly by Steven Gerrard.

Caixinha had a turbulent spell in charge of Rangers before Steven Gerrard came in.
The Portuguese made many questionable decisions at Ibrox, but he was the man who gave McCrorie his chance in Rangers’ first team.
And McCrorie insists that he still thinks Caixinha is a good manager.
“The managers that were here did the best job that they could with what they had, so I wouldn’t say anything bad about the past regimes,” McCrorie said.
“Caixinha gave me my debut and I am really grateful for that and I thought he was a good manager.”

McCrorie was used infrequently at Rangers last season by Gerrard.
The youngster was regularly left on the substitutes’ bench by Rangers, with other options favoured.
McCrorie has already expressed his frustrations in the Scottish Herald and has a desire to play more at Ibrox next time around, and he certainly has the talent to play a vital role.
Rangers are already back in training for next season, as they prepare for their upcoming European qualifiers.
