Glasgow Rangers have been without Niko Kranjcar since October, but perhaps he could appear again at Ibrox before the season ends.

Niko Kranjcar has issued an extremely positive update regarding his fitness, suggesting that he could be back in contention to feature for Rangers again before the end of the season, The Scottish Sun reports.
The Scottish Sun reports that Kranjcar had initially been expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a severe knee injury on the training ground back in October.
However, The Scottish Sun adds that the Croatian is now back in training, and Kranjcar has suggested that he is hoping to earn a chance under Pedro Caixinha before the curtain comes down on the campaign.
“My health is good. I have another month to go and then I will get the go-ahead to get back playing,” he said, as reported by The Scottish Sun.

“Without any doubt, this is the most serious injury that I had in his career.
“But I am hoping to be back playing in a month.”
After initially struggling following his arrival at Ibrox, Kranjcar was starting to provide glimpses of quality that suggested that he was starting to find his feet in the Scottish Premiership.

Unfortunately, the injury soon hit, so the 32-year-old is arguably facing an uphill battle trying to prove that he can make an impact for the Gers, especially now Caixinha has come in and has shown signs during his first couple of games in charge that he is looking to make big changes to the side’s style and philosophy.
But having fought back from such a serious injury, it would not be a surprise if the former Premier League midfielder has all the motivation required to make sure his spell with Rangers is a success.
