Rangers winger Glenn Middleton has a huge chance to make his 2018 even better.

At the start of the year Glenn Middleton could never have guessed what 2018 had in store for him.
The Rangers sensation was playing for Norwich City’s under-23 side and hoping that one day a first team chance may come.
Graeme Murty raided his former club to bring Middleton to Ibrox in January and he jumped at the chance to join Rangers.
His early performances for the under-20s showed promise, and when Steven Gerrard took over as manager in the summer, Middleton’s Rangers career really took off.
Middleton won Gerrard over quickly, taking full advantage, by starring in pre-season and the early Europa League qualifying rounds.
He could be set for a major role tonight in Rangers’ decisive Europa League group game away to Rapid Vienna.
Ryan Kent and Jamie Murphy are out injured and Eros Grezda is struggling for form.

Middleton is only 18-years-old, yet he has emerged as their most consistent and dependable winger.
He isn’t perfect, he shouldn’t be expected to be at his age.
This evening in Austria, Middleton has the chance to make his already fantastic year even better.
Rangers need him to put in the best performance of his fledgling career so far.
If he can demonstrate he has the temperament to deliver, Rangers fans should get even more excited about how far he can go in the game.
