The Rangers duo have forged an impressive partnership.

Rangers ace Connor Goldson spoke exclusively to the Daily Record ahead of his side’s Betfred Cup clash with Aberdeen at Hampden Park, and raved about the quality of his teammate Joe Worrall.
The 21-year-old joined the Gers from Nottingham Forest in the summer, and he has since gone on to make seven appearances in all competitions for Steven Gerrard’s side.
Goldson, meanwhile, has been far more of a regular feature in the Rangers side, making 21 appearances in all competitions.
The first time the pair played together was in September away at Villarreal in the Europa League, and they have forged an impressive understanding.
Goldson sat down for an exclusive interview with the Daily Record, and shared how Worrall has really impressed him thus far, especially considering how young he still is:

“My first game with Joe was in Spain against Villarreal and we’ve struck up a good partnership. Joe’s a great player and still a young boy. People don’t appreciate he’s only 21 years old because he looks about 30! If you remember that and look at the teams we’re playing at European level, he’s done well in all of them.”
Rangers’ cup clash with Aberdeen kicks of at 16:30 today, and if selected, Goldson and Worrall will once again have to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance of beating Derek McInnes’ side.
